2002-03 Fernando Pisani Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey – Rookie - Photo Match
Lot #161

This road blue air-knit gamer by Koho and Elite Sportswear was worn by Fernando Pisani during the 2002-03 NHL season, his rookie year. The Edmonton Oilers selected Pisani in the 8th round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. This Edmonton native played four years of college hockey at Providence College before making his NHL debut with the hometown Oilers in 2002-03. Fernando spent his first 7 seasons wearing the Oilers colors before playing for a final year with the Chicago Blackhawks. The highlight of Pisani’s NHL career came during the Oilers 2006 run to the Stanley Cup Finals as he netted 14 goals in 24 playoff games.

The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, many board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Pisani wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice photo matched offering worn by this hometown hero during his rookie season.
