Description
2002-03 Curtis Brown Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey Alternate - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #286

This red alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Curtis Brown during the 2002-03 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Brown in the 2nd round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. Brown made his NHL debut with the Sabres in 1994-95. He would spend the first 10 years of a 13-year NHL career in a Buffalo uniform. Brown made his only trip to the Stanley Cup Finals with the Sabres in 1999. After leaving Buffalo at the deadline in 2004, Curtis played the remainder of his career with the San Jose Sharks and the Chicago Blackhawks.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 alternate is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Brown wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful well-worn photo matched alternate of this popular Buffalo winger. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
