2002-03 Craig Berube Calgary Flames Game Worn Jersey Alternate Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #94
This black alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Craig Berube during the 2002-03 NHL season. Berube made his NHL debut in 1986-87 with the Philadelphia Flyers and as a rookie journeyed with the club to the Stanley Cup Finals. Berube played for the Flyers for a total of 7 seasons over the course of his 17-year NHL career. He also briefly represented the Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and New York Islanders as well as the Washington Capitals where he played for parts of 7 seasons including the 1997-98 season that saw his team trek to the Stanley Cup Finals. This legendary enforcer played in 1054 games and amassed 3149 PIMS over the course of his career. “The Chief” is one of only 9 men to have reached the 3000 PIMS mark and ranks 7th on the NHL’s all-time PIMS list! Since retiring, Craig served as the Head Coach for the Philadelphia Flyers and most recently the St. Louis Blues, where, in his first year on the job, he led St. Louis to the first Stanley Cup title in franchise history.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 alternate consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Berube wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. On the inner verso is a customized fight strap. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful photo matched alternate, worn by this 3000 PIMS club member and hailing from “The Chief’s” last NHL season. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flames team letter.
