Description
2002-03 Brian Campbell Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey – Alternate
Lot #294

This red alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Brian Campbell during the 2002-03 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Capmbell in the 6th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career in 1999-00 with Buffalo and remained with the club for 8 seasons before a deadline deal sent him to San Jose in 2007-08. That off-season, Campbell signed on with the Chicago Blackhawks where he spent 3 years before signing with the Florida Panthers, his home for the next five seasons. Campbell spent the 2016-17 season with the Chicago Blackhawks. Campbell was a 2nd Team NHL All Star in 2008 and he played in 3 consecutive NHL All Star games from 2007-09 and more recently another in 2012, the year he captured the Lady Byng Trophy. Most importantly, Campbell helped lead the Hawks to a deep playoff run in his first season with the club and then was part of the magical run as Chicago won the Stanley Cup in 2010, breaking one of sports’ longest droughts. Campbell is now a member of the 1000 game club.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 alternate is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A well-worn alternate by this 4-time NHL All Star.
