2002-03 Brad Ference Florida Panthers Game Worn Jersey – Alternate – “2003 All Star” –Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #137
This blue alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Brad Ference during the 2002-03 NHL season. The Vancouver Canucks selected Ference in the 1st round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. This Calgary native made his NHL debut in 1999-00 with the Florida Panthers where he played for four seasons. Ference went on to represent the Phoenix Coyotes and Calgary Flames in addition to spending a few seasons in the AHL. Over the course of his 6-year NHL career, this enforcer played in 250 games and accumulated 565 PIMS. Ference totaled a career single season best of 254 PIMS in 2001-02 with the Panthers.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL All Star Game patch. The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and fight abuse with a heavily torn and repaired front collar with repair work extending down to the crest. Shown above are a couple of video captures of Ference wearing this exact jersey after squaring off against Mario Lemieux. First you can see the Panthers trainer stitching up the jersey, then Brad sitting on the bench afterwards. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Florida Panthers game worn jersey and set tagging. A beautiful patched and photo matched offering of this enforcer after doing battle with Mario Lemieux. This jersey will be accompanied by a Panters team letter.
