2001-02 Todd Marchant Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #144

This road white air-knit gamer by CCM and Elite Sportswear was worn by Todd Marchant during the 2001-02 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected Marchant in the 7th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at Clarkson University, this Buffalo, NY native made his NHL debut in 1993-94 with the New York Rangers. Later that season, Marchant joined the Edmonton Oilers where he would spend the next 10 years. After leaving Edmonton, Todd spent a couple of years with the Blue Jackets and then completed his 1195 game NHL career after spending 6 seasons in Anaheim.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, fine inner pilling and some significant team-sewn repair work to the upper verso. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Marchant wearing this exact jersey during the 2001-02 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A well-worn photo matched example that sports the coveted letter of honor. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
