2001-02 Scott Niedermayer New Jersey Devils Game Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #131
This road red air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Scott Niedermayer during the 2001-02 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Niedermayer with the 3rd overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Niedermayer recently retired after an 18-year NHL career that saw him win 4 Stanley Cups and 2 Olympic Gold Medals. Scott spent his first 13 years in New Jersey, where he won 3 of his 4 Stanley Cups, the last one coming with Anaheim where he spent the last 5 years of his career. Scott was 4 times a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star and played in 5 NHL All Star games. He captured the 2007 Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in Anaheim and won the 2004 Norris Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman in his last season in New Jersey. In 1263 games, Niedermayer netted 172 goals and 740 points. A spot in the Hall of Fame no doubt awaits this classy defenseman.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling, a well-salted fight strap and several team-sewn repairs. On the inside hem is the official New Jersey Devils game worn jersey and set information. A terrific well-worn example that should please any Devils or Hall of Fame collector. This jersey will be accompanied by a Devils team letter.
