After playing his college hockey at Yale University and graduating in 2001, this Edina, MN native made his professional debut in 2001-02. Stafford played with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL as well as the Saint John Flames, Providence Bruins and Philadelphia Phantoms of the AHL. Ben spent parts of 4 seasons with Philadelphia and scored the Calder Cup clinching goal for the Phantoms in his final professional game in 2005.
