Description
2000-01 Scott Young St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match
Lot #166
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Scott Young during the 2000-01 NHL playoffs. After starring at Boston University, Young was selected 11th overall in the 1st round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft by the Hartford Whalers. After 3+ years with the Whalers, Young moved onto join the Penguins, where he won the Stanley Cup in 1991. After missing the 1991-92 season, Young made a comeback with the Nordiques in 1992-93 by rattling the cage 30 times for the first time in his career. After 3 years with the Nords, Scott transferred to the Avalanche and was again a Cup winner in Colorado. He would also go on to represent the Ducks, Blues and Stars before his 342-goal career came to a close in 2006.

The game wear on this playoff set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a team-sewn repair. Shown above are some beautiful photo matches of Young wearing this exact jersey during the 2000-01 playoffs. On the inside hem is the official St. Louis Blues game worn jersey and set information.
