Description
2000-01 Manny Legace Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #282
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Manny Legace during the 2000-01 NHL season. The Hartford Whalers originally drafted this native of Toronto in 1993. After spending nearly a decade in the minors, Manny broke into the NHL with the Kings in 1998-99. The following year he joined the Detroit Red Wings, the team with which he spent the next 6 seasons. During that time he won the Stanley Cup in 2001-02. Following his time in the Motor City, Legace played for the St. Louis Blues for 3 seasons and made his only NHL All Star game appearance during that time. After a year with the Carolina Hurricanes, Legace took his craft to Europe where he played this past season.

The game wear on this size 58 goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post paint transfer on both sleeves the front and the back, pilling and a team-sewn repair that resides alongside the winged wheel crest. On the inside hem is the official Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey and set information. This jersey will be accompanied by a Red Wings team letter.
