2000-01 Manny Legace Detroit Red Wings Game Worn Jersey
Lot #85
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Manny Legace during the 2000-01 NHL season. The Hartford Whalers selected Legace in the 8th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. This Toronto native made his NHL debut in 1998-99 with the LA Kings. The following year he joined the Detroit Red Wings, the team with which he spent the next 6 seasons. During that time, Manny won his only Stanley Cup, coming in 2001-02. Following his time in the Motor City, Legace played for the St. Louis Blues for three seasons, making his only NHL All Star game appearance. After a year with the Carolina Hurricanes, Legace took his craft to Europe where he played for a season before returning to the AHL for a final season in 2011-12.

The game wear on this 3rd set size 58 Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, a fair amount of goal post paint transfer, board paint transfer and inner pilling. On the inside hem is the official Detroit Red Wings game worn jersey and set tagging. Legace put forth one of the best seasons of his career while wearing this sweater in front of the hometown fans at Joe Louis Arena. He posted 24 Wins, two by way of shutout, against just five losses and five ties to go along with a 2.05 GAA, superb.
