2000-01 Ladislav Benysek Minnesota Wild Game Worn Jersey - Inaugural Season – Team Letter
Lot #146

This road green air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Ladislav Benysek during the 2000-01 NHL season, the Minnesota Wild inaugural season. The Edmonton Oilers selected Benysek in the 11th round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. This Czech native spent a handful of seasons in his native Czech Republic before making his NHL debut in 1997-98 with the Oilers. Ladislav returned home after just a single season with Edmonton. He returned to the NHL in 2000-01 with the expansion Minnesota Wild where he would play for the remaining three years of his NHL career. Benysek again returned to Europe following his time with the Wild where he played for another decade before retiring.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a team-sewn repair. Sewn to the inside fight strap is the official Minnesota Wild game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice opportunity to acquire a now 20-year old inaugural season sweater that hails from the coveted first set of road Wild gamers! This jersey will be accompanied by a Wild team letter.
