These black and red goalie pads by Sher-Wood were game worn by Jocelyn Thibault while playing for the Chicago Blackhawks. The Quebec Nordiques selected Thibault with the 10th overall pick in the 1st round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Jocelyn served the Nordiques and Avalanche for 3 years before he was sent packing to Montreal in exchange for Hall of Famer Patrick Roy. After parts of 4 seasons with Les Habitants, Jocelyn joined the Chicago Blackhawks where he tended goal for 6 years. He finished up his NHL career with stints in Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Thibault was a highly decorated goalie in the QMJHL and also played in the NHL All Star game in 2003, where he represented the Blackhawks.
These black and red Sher-Wood goalie pads have the player name “Thibault” on the side. The pads show lighter game use.
