Description
2000-01 Jay McKee Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey – Alternate – Team Letter
Lot #165

This red air-knit alternate gamer by Koho was worn by Jay McKee during the 2000-01 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected McKee in the 1st round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. McKee made his NHL debut in 1995-96 with Buffalo and spent 10 seasons with the club before joining the St. Louis Blues for three seasons. McKee completed his career in 2009-10 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Since leaving his playing days behind him, McKee joined the coaching ranks and served as the Head Coach for the Kitchener Rangers.

The game wear on this size 58 alternate consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and pilling found both inside and out. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey tagging. A nice alternate hailing from the career of this 14-year NHL veteran. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
