2000-01 Jason Jaffray Kootenay Ice Game Worn Jersey
Lot #286

This blue knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Jason Jaffray during the 2000-01 WHL season. Following a five-year junior career in the WHL, this LW embarked on a professional career that began in 2002 and spanned 17 seasons. Jason made his NHL debut in 2007-08 with the Vancouver Canucks where he played for a couple of years before suiting up for the Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, inner pilling and team-sewn repair work. Jaffray scored 31 goals and added 42 assists for 73 points to go along with 108 PIMS in 70 games played while wearing this sweater during the 2000-01 season. A well-worn example from this former NHL wingers days in junior hockey.
