This black alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Jaromir Jagr during the 2000-01 NHL season, his last with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Jagr with the 5th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. Jagr was an instant force, earning a place on the all-rookie team and winning the Stanley Cup in each of his first two seasons in the league. Jaromir amassed an impressive array of hardware during his storied career, which includes five Art Ross Trophies as the NHL’s leading scorer, three Lester B. Pearson trophies as the NHL’s outstanding player along with the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player in 1998-99. His career totals are staggering. Jagr scored 766 goals (3rd all-time), 1155 assists (5th all-time) and 1921 points (2nd all-time) in 1733 career regular season games played, this despite playing in the KHL for 3 seasons. Jaromir’s career playoff totals are equally as impressive with 201 playoff points to his credit. His 24-year NHL career saw Jaromir earn seven 1st and one 2nd Team NHL All Star selections. He played in 10 NHL All Star games, a Canada Cup, 2 World Cups of Hockey and 4 Olympics! He is regarded as one of the game's all-time greats and will be enshrined in Hockey’s Hall of Fame on his 1st ballot of eligibility.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The game wear on this size 56 alternate is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, colorful board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Jagr wearing this exact jersey during the 2000-01 season. One of those images shows Jagr during game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals wearing this exact jersey during what was his last game as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Penned in black sharpie on the collar tag is “68 C”. The Penguins wore just one set of alternates during the 2000-01 season and it marked the return of the skating Penguin to Pittsburgh. Jagr was simply tremendous during the 2000-01 season. He scored 52 goals and added a league leading 69 assists that combined for a league best 121 points. For his efforts, Jaromir earned the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL’s leading scorer to go along with a 1st Team NHL All Star selection. A tremendous well-worn photo matched example, complete with the coveted letter of honor and worn during an award laden season while also being Jagr’s last-ever Penguins game worn jersey, choice! This jersey will be accompanied by a Penguins team letter.
