2000-01 James Patrick Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #205
This black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by James Patrick during the 2000-01 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected Patrick with the 9th overall pick in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at the University of North Dakota, Patrick began his NHL career with the Rangers, an era that spanned 1983-84 thru the early part of the 1993-94 season. James next suited up briefly for the Whalers before a deal sent him to Calgary where he played for the next 5 years. His final stop was Buffalo, where Patrick spent 6 seasons. All told this defenseman spent 21 years roaming the NHL’s bluelines. During his tenure with the Rangers, Patrick thrilled the Garden faithful with his adept skills from the point on the power play, as he rung up double-digit goal totals in 7 consecutive seasons. His career best of 71 points came in the 1991-92 campaign as the Rangers captured the President’s Trophy to the delight of their fans. Patrick also represented Team Canada in the 1984 Olympics and during the thrilling 1987 Canada Cup.

The game wear on this size 58 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sabres team letter.
