2000-01 Craig Anderson Calgary Flames Pre-Season Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #419

|
This black alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Craig Anderson during the 2000-01 NHL Pre-Season. The Calgary Flames were the first team to draft Anderson, doing so in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. After failing to come to terms with the club, Anderson went back into the draft and was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Anderson would suit up fot the Hawks for 3 seasons before joining the Florida Panthers where he played for 3 more years. Craig next spent parts of 2 seasons with the Colorado Avalanche before a deal sent him to Ottawa during last season. In 2009-10 Anderson appeared in a carer high 71 games in his first season as a member of the Avs. Anderson is a native of Park Ridge Illinois and has spent a couple of years representing Team USA on the international stage in the World Championships.
This pre-rookie jersey was worn by Anderson during the 2000-01 pre-season while trying to earn a roster spot and ultimately come to terms with the Calgary Flames. This predominantly black jersey is a size 58 goalie cut and as would be expected the game wear is tough to discern. Worthy of mention is the misspelled Swedish spelling of Craig's surname on the reverse. On the inside hem is the official Calgary Flames game worn jersey and set information. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flames team letter.
