Description
1999-00 Ryan Vandenbussche Chicago Blackhawks Game Worn Jersey Alternate Team Letter
Lot #126

This black alternate air-knit gamer by Pro Player was worn by Ryan Vandenbussche during the 1999-00 NHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Vandenbussche in the 8th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. This Simcoe, ONT native made his NHL debut in 1996-97 with the New York Rangers where he played for parts of two seasons before joining the Chicago Blackhawks. Ryan spent parts of 7 years with the Hawks before finishing up his 9-year NHL career with the Pittsburgh Penguins. This scrappy winger loved to mix it up with the big guys and in 310 games played accumulated 702 PIMS.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the NHL’s year 2000 patch. The fight strap on this gamer has been customized for Vandenbussche by the team. The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, inner pilling and a torn and repaired front collar. On the inside is the official Blackhawks sports registry hologram. A well-worn patched and customized example that’s seen its share of scraps. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blackhawks team letter.
