1999-00 Marc Bergevin St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #98

This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Marc Bergevin during the 1999-00 NHL season. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Bergevin in the 3rd round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. This Montreal born defenseman made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks in 1984-85 and played for the team that drafted him for parts of 5 seasons before joining the New York Islanders where he played for a couple of years. Bergevin later went on to represent the Hartford Whalers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Penguins and Vancouver Canucks. All told this rearguard played in 1191 games over the course of 20 NHL seasons.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the right breast is the year 2000 patch. The sleeves on this jersey have been custom shortened for Bergevin by the team. The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Bergevin wearing this exact jersey during the 1999-00 season. On the inner hem and elbow are the official St. Louis Blues game worn jersey and set identifiers. A well-worn patched and photo matched example complete with letter of honor. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blues team letter.
