1999-00 Jonathan Sim Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Finals Game Worn Jersey – “2000 Stanley Cup Finals” – Team Letter
Lot #135
This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jonathan Sim during the 1999-00 NHL playoffs and Stanley Cup Finals. The Dallas Stars selected Sim in the 3rd round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Sim began his NHL career in 1998-99 with the Stars and as a rookie won the Stanley Cup. He again trekked to the Cup Finals the following season only to lose to the Devils. Jon spent his first 5 years with the Stars before continuing his career and representing the Predators, Kings, Penguins, Flyers, Panthers, Thrashers. He ended his NHL career with the New York Islanders, where he played for 4 seasons. All told Sim spent 12 years roaming the left wing in the NHL.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the 2000 Stanley Cup Finals patch. Sewn above is the year 2000 NHL patch. The game wear on this 3rd set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, sweat stains, pulls, inner pilling and some significant team-sewn repair work, including a mass that spans more than 4” on the right hip. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Dallas Stars game worn jersey and set tagging. A terrific well worn Stanley Cup Finals gamer! This jersey will be accompanied by a Stars team letter.
