Wiemer made his NHL debut in 1994-95 with the Lightning where he played for four seasons before a 1998 deadline deal sent him to the Calgary Flames. This tough guy spent parts of five seasons with Calgary before moving on to represent the Florida Panthers, New York Islanders, Minnesota Wild and the New Jersey Devils. All told this Center spent 11 years in the NHL, playing in 726 games and amassing 1420 PIMS.
