He also briefly represented the Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames and New York Islanders as well as the Washington Capitals where he played for parts of 7 seasons, including the 1997-98 season that trekked to the Stanley Cup Finals. This legendary enforcer played in 1054 games and amassed 3149 PIMS over the course of his career. “The Chief” is one of only 9 men to have reached the 3000 PIMS mark and ranks 7th on the NHL’s all-time PIMS list! Since retiring, Craig served as the Head Coach for the Philadelphia Flyers and most recently the St. Louis Blues, where in his first year on the job, he led St. Louis to the first Stanley Cup title in franchise history.
