1998-99 Scott Parker Colorado Avalanche Game Worn Jersey - Rookie - "CHS" - Team Letter
Lot #329
This road burgandy air-knit gamer by Starter was worn by Scott Parker during the 1998-99 NHL season, his rookie year. The Colorado Avalanche selected Parker in the 1st round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. This Hanford, CA native began his NHL career with the Avalanche in 1998-99 and spent parts of 6 of his 8 NHL seasons with the club that drafted him. Scott played for the San Jose Sharks for parts of 3 years spanning 2003-04 thru 2006-07. This 6’ 5” enforcer accumulated 699 PIMS in 308 regular season games.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this gamer is the “CHS” patch, in commemoration of the Columbine High School shootings. The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 goalie cut sweater consists of stick marks, board burns and pilling. The Colorado Avalanche team letter specifies that this gamer was worn during the regular season and was prepared for use during the playoffs, as Scott did not play in any playoff games during his rookie season. That letter will accompany your purchase. “CHS” patched gamers have been elusive and should interest the patch collectors, Avalanche fans and the fight fans alike. This jersey will be accompanied by an Avalanche team letter.
