This home white air-knit gamer by Starter was issued for use by Scott Barney during the 1998-99 NHL season and likely worn during training camp. The Los Angeles Kings selected Barney in the 2nd round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Barney made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2002-03, playing with the team that drafted him for 2 seasons before playing a final NHL season with the Atlanta Thrashers. After time in the AHL, Barney went to Europe to pursue his playing career between 2008-14.

This 1st set size 54 sweater sports some nice inner pilling and was likely used by Barney for training camp in 1998. In the collar are the year and set designation in black sharpie with the equipment manager’s initials. This jersey will be accompanied by a Kings team letter.
