Description
1998-99 Patric Kjellberg Nashville Predators Game Worn Jersey - Innaugural Season - Team Letter
Lot #212
This road blue air-knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Patric Kjellberg during the 1998-99 NHL season. The Montreal Canadiens selected Kjellberg, a native of Trelleborg, Sweden, in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. After a handful of years in the SEL, Patric came to North America for a season where he played for both Montreal and their AHL affiliate Fredericton. It was a successful season for the Swede as the Canadiens captured the Stanley Cup that spring. Following the season, Kjellberg returned home to Sweden, playing for the next 5 seasons in the SEL. Patric returned to the NHL with the expansion Nashville Predators in 1998. He spent parts of 4 seasons with Nashville before spending 2 more with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks after which he retired from the sport.

Sewn to the shoulders of this gamer are the Inaugural season patch ‘Nashville 98’. The game wear on this sweater is solid consisting of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, pulls and fine pilling as well as half a dozen team-sewn repairs. A tremendous first year example!
