This black alternate air-knit gamer by Nike was worn by Mark Janssens during the 1998-99 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected Janssens in the 4th round of the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Janssens began his NHL career in 1987-88 with the Rangers and went onto a 14-year NHL career. During that time, Mark represented the Rangers, North Stars, Whalers, Mighty Ducks, Islanders, Coyotes and the Blackhawks. In 711 career games played this tough center iceman racked up 1422 PIMS.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 Goalie cut alternate consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. The front collar has been reinforced by the team while the fight strap has been highly customized for Janssens. The year and set designation can be found officially penned in black sharpie behind the NHL shield. A nice customized alternate, complete with the coveted letter of honor from Janssens first season in Chicago.
