1998-99 Craig Johnson Los Angeles Kings Game Worn Jersey
Lot #218
This home white air-knit gamer by Starter was worn by Craig Johnson during the 1998-99 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Johnson in the 2nd round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. This St. Paul, MN native played his college hockey at the University of Minnesota before beginning his NHL career with the Blues in 1994-95. Eight of Johnson’s Ten NHL seasons were spent as a member of the LA Kings. On the international stage, Johnson served Team USA in the World Championships, the Olympics and also spent 54 games with the National Team before joining the NHL.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops, loads of those lovable Starter pulls, fine inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn repairs. The black sharpie initials of the team’s equipment man can be found in the collar.
