1998-99 B.J. Young Adirondack Red Wings Game Issued Jersey – “20-year Anniversary”
Lot #185
This road red knit jersey by Bauer was issued to B.J. Young during the 1998-99 AHL season. The Detroit Red Wings selected Young in the 6th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. This Anchorage native made his NHL debut in 1999-00 with Detroit where he played his lone NHL game. Young also spent four seasons in the AHL and three more representing his native Alaska in the WCHL and ECHL. This tough guy rang up 1132 PIMS in 395 games played.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this jersey is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the left shoulder is the Adirondack Red Wings 20-year anniversary patch. Sewn to the right breast is the sponsorship patch. This size 54 team issued sweater shows no signs of game use. An attractive anniversary patched offering complete with the letter of honor.
