Description
1998-99 Adam Deadmarsh Colorado Avalanche Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #216

This road burgundy air-knit gamer by Starter was worn by Adam Deadmarsh during the 1998-99 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Deadmarsh in the 1st round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After spending his rookie season of 1994-95 with the Nords, the team transferred to Colorado the following year. It was during that season that the Avalanche won their first Stanley Cup title, and Deadmarsh was no doubt a big component. Adam tallied 17 points and added some much needed grit as evidenced by his 25 PIMS as the Avs steamrolled to the 1996 Stanley Cup Championship. Deadmarsh would spend parts of 6 seasons with Colorado before joining the LA Kings in 2000-01. He spent his remaining 2+ years in the NHL with LA before announcing his retirement. On the international stage, Deadmarsh played a key role in Team USA’s victory in the thrilling 1996 World Cup of Hockey and has played in the World Championships and in 2 Olympics.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Deadmarsh wearing this exact jersey during the 1998-99 season. Deadmarsh has also added a beautiful bold black sharpie signature on the back player number. A well-worn photo matched example from this former Stanley Cup Champion. This jersey will be accompanied by an Avalanche team letter.
