This road purple knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Andrei Trefilov and or Zac Bierk during the 1998-00 IHL seasons. The Calgary Flames selected Trefilov in the 1st round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This native of Moscow made his NHL debut in 1992-93 with the Flames where he played for three seasons. Trefilov went on to represent the Sabres and Blackhawks before a return to Calgary. After 7 NHL seasons, Trefilov returned to Europe where he tended Goal for another 6 years.
The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Bierk in the 9th round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. This Peterborough native made his NHL debut in 1997-98 with the Lightning where he played for three seasons. Zac went on to represent the Minnesota Wild and Phoenix Coyotes before retiring following a 6-year NHL career.
The game wear on this size 56 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick, slash and puck marks, paint transfer, material pulls, collar and cuff pilling along with inner pilling. Removed from the upper verso and lost to history is the player nameplate. A well-worn example by one of or both of these former NHL Goaltenders.
