This road black knit gamer by CCM was worn by Trevor Ettinger during the 1997-98 QMJHL season, his rookie year. The Edmonton Oilers selected Ettinger in the 6th round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Following four fight-filled seasons of juniors that saw Ettinger compile 1366 PIMS in 251 games played, this enforcer made his professional debut in 2000-01. Trevor played just two seasons in the minors, splitting his time between the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch and the ECHL’s Dayton Bombers before an unforgettable tragedy struck. In the summer of 2003, at just 23 years of age, Ettinger took his own life, leaving the hockey world shocked and saddened.
