This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Stephane Fiset during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Fiset in the 2nd round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the first 6 years of his NHL career with the Nords and then transferred to Colorado where he played for a season. In 1996-97 Fiset joined the Kings and played with them for 5 years and then finished his career with a season in Montreal.
The 1997-98 season saw Fiset appear in a career high 60 games. Offered here is Fiset’s road sweater from that campaign. The game wear on this 2nd set size 60 goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, burns, un-repaired holes, goal post paint transfer, pulls and nice areas of pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Los Angeles Kings game worn jersey tagging. Also worthy of mention are the trainer’s initials, which are found on the collar tagging in black sharpie. A nice example that will surely please any goalie or Kings collector.
