This home white air-knit gamer by Nike was worn by Rod Brind’Amour during the 1997-98 NHL season. Brind’Amour recently wrapped up his 21st and final NHL season. This lengthy career began in 1988 with the St. Louis Blues where Rod spent 3 years before joining the Philadelphia Flyers. He would play for the Flyers for 9 years before joining his most recent squad, the Carolina Hurricanes, where he resided for the past decade. During his career, Rod won a Stanley Cup with the Hurricanes, played in the NHL All Star game and captured back to back Frank Selke Trophy’s as the leagues best defensive forward also while representing Carolina. To his credit are 452 goals and 1184 career points. Rod has represented Team Canada in both the Olympics and the inaugural World Cup of Hockey in 1996.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Worn during the height of the “Lindros Era” in Philadelphia, the game wear on this size 52 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, fine inner pilling and 3 team-sewn repairs. This example will please the most ardent Flyers fan.
