This gold air-knit alternate by Starter was worn by Mattias Timander during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Boston Bruins selected Timander in the 9th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. This Swedish native spent the bulk of his career playing in his native Sweden, both before and after his NHL career. Mattias spent 8 seasons patrolling the blueline in the NHL, where he represented the likes of Boston, Columbus, the Islanders and Philadelphia. Timader’s first 4 NHL seasons seasons were spent wearing the Bruins black and gold colors.
The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. On the inside hem is the official Boston Bruins game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice Bear Head alternate that was donned by Timander during his sophomore season.
