This home white knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Jason Botterill during the 1997-98 IHL season, his rookie year. The Dallas Stars selected Botterill in the 1st round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. After graduating from the University of Michigan, Botterill began his NHL career with the Stars in 1997-98. Jason spent a couple of season with Dallas, spent a partial year in Atlanta, a couple more with Calgary and finished up his NHL career with a couple of seasons in Buffalo.
Sewn to the back hem of this gamer is the PHPA 30-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 56 rookie sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, washed out bloodstains, stitch pops and inner pilling. On the back is a beautiful autograph in Botterill’s own hand. A well-worn rookie sweater from Jason’s first pro season.
