This home white air-knit gamer by Starter was worn by Jaromir Jagr during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Jagr with the 5th overall pick in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. He was an instant force, earning a place on the all-rookie team and winning the Stanley Cup in each of his first two seasons in the league. Jaromir has amassed an impressive array of hardware during his storied career, which includes 5 Art Ross Trophies as the NHL’s leading scorer, 3 Lester B Pearson trophies as the NHL’s outstanding player along with the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player. His career totals are thus far staggering. He has scored in excess of 675 goals, 1000 assists and 1675 points at the time of this writing. His playoff totals are equally as impressive with 189 playoff points to his credit. His 19-year career has thus far seen Jaromir earn seven 1st and one 2nd team NHL All Star selections. He has played in 9 NHL All Star games, a Canada Cup, 2 World Cups of Hockey and 3 Olympic games. He is regarded as one of the game's all-time great right-wingers and will be enshrined in Hockey’s Hall of Fame on his 1st ballot upon retirement.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and inner pilling. Jagr won the Art Ross Trophy with a 102-point effort while wearing this jersey during the 1997-98 season. It was only the second 100-point season of his career to date. This jersey has sat in a private collection since being purchased directly from the team sets following the 1997-98 season and is ready to make a great addition to any Hall of Fame or Penguins collection of gamers.
