1997-98 Jamie Langenbrunner Dallas Stars Game Worn Jersey – Photo Match
Lot #128
This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jamie Langenbrunner during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Dallas Stars selected Langenbrunner in the 2nd round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. This Cloquet, MN native made his NHL debut in 1994-95 with Dallas where he spent the first 8-years of his 18-year NHL career. At the deadline in 2002, Langenbrunner joined the New Jersey Devils where he played for parts of the next 9 seasons and served as Team Captain, before a return to Dallas and a final two-year stop in St. Louis. During his 1109 game NHL career, this winger played in three Stanley Cup Finals and walked away with two Stanley Cup rings.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, fine inner pilling and plenty of team-sewn repair work. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Langenbrunner wearing this exact jersey during the 1997-98 season. While wearing this sweater during just his second full NHL season, Langenbrunner notched his first 20-Goal season. A well-worn photo matched example that was worn by Jamie during the early part of his lengthy NHL career.
