1997-98 Dmitri Yushkevich Toronto Maple Leafs Game Worn Jersey Team Letter
Lot #129

This road blue air-knit gamer by Nike was worn by Dmitri Yushkevich during the 1997-98 NHL season. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Yushkevich in the 6th round of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. This Russian native joined the NHL in 1992-93 and spent his first 3 seasons with the Flyers. Dmitri next spent 7 years with the Maple Leafs before brief stints with the Panthers, Kings and Flyers. In 2003, he returned to Russia, spending the next 7 seasons playing in Europe before retiring in 2010. Yushkevich represented the Maple Leafs in the 2000 NHL All Star Game. On the international stage, Dmitri played for his native Russia in numerous competitions, including the World Championships, the 1996 World Cup of Hockey as well as the 1992 and 1998 Olympics.

The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of numerous stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, general filth, fine inner pilling and more than a handful of team-sewn repairs. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Toronto Maple Leafs game worn jersey and set tagging. A terrific well-worn example from this 2-time Olympian and NHL All Star. This jersey will be accompanied by a Maple Leafs team letter.
