1996 Stanislav Neckar Team Czech World Cup of Hockey Game Worn Jersey – “1996 World Cup of Hockey” – NHLPA Letter
Lot #185

This white air-knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Team Czech’s Stanislav Neckar during the inaugural 1996 World Cup of Hockey. The Ottawa Senators selected Neckar in the 2nd round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. This Czech native made his NHL debut with the Ottawa Senators in 1994-95. Stan spent parts of 5 seasons with the Senators before spending a partial season with the Rangers, parts of 3 years with Phoenix, 4 years with Tampa and a short stint in Nashville. Neckar won the 2004 Stanley Cup as a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning. On the international stage Neckar represented the Czech Team in the World Championships and the 1996 World Cup of Hockey.

Sewn to the left shoulder of this jersey is the 1996 World Cup of Hockey patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, material pulls and inner pilling. A terrific opportunity to acquire a Team Czech gamer from the inaugural World Cup of Hockey. This jersey will be accompanied by an NHLPA letter.
