1996-97 Luke Richardson Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #83
This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM and RMC Sports was worn by Luke Richardson during the 1996-97 NHL season. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Richardson in the 1st round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. This hard-nosed defenseman hailed from Ottawa and went on to an NHL career that spanned 21 seasons and encompassed 1417 games. Richardson represented the Maple Leafs, Oilers, Flyers, Blue Jackets, Lightning and the Senators during his playing days while compiling 2055 PIMS.

Proudly sewn to the left breast is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, material pulls, washed out bloodstains and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Richardson wearing this exact jersey during the 1996-97 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A beautiful photo matched offering that sports the coveted letter of honor. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
