This home white mesh & dazzle cloth gamer by Apex was worn by Nick Checco during the 1995 WCHA season. The Quebec Nordiques selected Checco in the 6th round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Checco, a Bloomington, MN native spent 4 seasons on the wing at the University of Minnesota spanning 1993-97. Checco was named Mr. Minnesota Hockey in 1993 for being the best high school hockey player in the state, prior to joining the Golden Gophers. Following his collegiate career, Checco embarked on a 5-year minor pro career that spanned the UHL, AHL and ECHL where he represented the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, the Columbus Chill, the Florida Everblades, the Pensacola Ice Pilots and the Rockford IceHogs.
