1995-96 Roman Hamrlik Tampa Bay Lightning Game Worn Jersey - 1st All Star Season - Career Best 16-Goals, 49-Assists & 65-Points - Photo Match
Lot #123

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Roman Hamrlik during the 1995-96 NHL season. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Hamrlik with the 1st overall pick in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, their first as a franchise. This native of the Czech Republic began his NHL career with Tampa in 1992-93 and spent the first 6 years of a 20-year NHL career with the Lightning. Roman would go on to represent the Edmonton Oilers, New York Islanders, Calgary Flames, Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers. Hamrlik was the NHL’s active leader for games played with nearly 1400 prior to retiring in 2013. Roman was a three-time NHL All Star who represented his country in the World Championships, two World Cups of Hockey and two Olympics.

The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, exterior pilling, heavy inner pilling and some massive team-sewn repair work that is found on the body and both sleeves. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Hamrlik wearing this exact jersey during the 1995-96 season. Hamrlik set career highs in 1995-96 while wearing this sweater, scoring 16 goals and adding 49 helpers for 65 points. For his efforts he earned his first of three NHL All Star Game appearances. A hammered photo matched gamer from a career best and All Star season.
