1995-96 Robin Bouchard CoHL Flint Generals Game Worn Jersey - "TV5 WNEM" - Photo Match
Lot #193

Robin Bouchard is presently ranked 6th in goals scored by a minor league hockey player. His goal, as told to our consignor, is to play a few more seasons which would be long enough to break the all-time goals record. This jersey was acquired by our consignor directly from Robin Bouchard.

This home white heavy mesh gamer by Crossbar was worn by Robin Bouchard during the 1995-96 CoHL season, his first year with Flint. Bouchard holds too many records to list in full. Some of the highlights are: career scoring leader for the Muskegon franchise; UHL record holder for goals scored; He holds the all-time hockey record for consecutive games played scoring a goal with 17 shattering the NHL mark set in 1921; Robin has scored more game winning goals in UHL history than any other player; Robin is ranked 6th on the career minor league goal scoring list.

The 1995-96 season saw the Flint Generals capture the Colonial Cup Championship. Each player was given only 1 home and 1 road jersey to wear for the entire year which included the playoffs. This is Robin’s jersey from that season. He scored his 1st career goal with Flint while wearing this shirt and later won the Colonial Cup that very same season, wearing this sweater for all home games. Robin would score 56 goals and 107 points in 73 games while weaing this shirt. He also mixed things up to the tune of 247 PIMS. In 15 playoff games en route to the Cup, Robin chipped in 17 points and 52 PIMS, wrapping up a heck of a 1st season.

The sleeves of this gamer have been customized for Bouchard. Sewn to the rear hem is the TV5 WNEM patch. The game wear on this very durable heavy mesh sweater is solid consisting of many stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a photo match of Bouchard wearing this exact jersey during his 1st season with Flint. Also shown above are photographs of Robin holding this jersey on the day our consignor acquired it from him. A fantastic offering from the man who is aiming to be the career minor league goal scoring champ.
