This home white knit gamer by CCM was worn by Matthew Barnaby during the 1995-96 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Barnaby in the 4th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. He began his 14-year NHL career with Buffalo in 1992-93 and remained with the Sabres for 7 seasons. Matt would go on to play for the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the New York Rangers, the Colorado Avalanche, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Dallas Stars. In 834 career games, this instigator extroidinaire amassed 2562 PIMS!

The 1995-96 season saw Barnaby score 15 goals and compile a career high 335 PIMS while wearing this jersey! Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the “1” patch to honor the memory of beloved Sabres goalie Roger Crozier. The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. Shown above, for your enjoyment, are video highlights of Barnaby doing his thing while wearing his home white Crozier patched Sabres jersey. Included in the highlights is the infamous brawl between Buffalo and Philadelphia during the 1995-96 season, with Barnaby featured front and center.
