Description
1995-96 Louie DeBrusk Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey
Lot #42
This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM and RMC Sports was worn by Louie DeBrusk during the 1995-96 NHL season. The New York Rangers selected DeBrusk in the 3rd round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. This Cambridge, ONT native made his NHL debut in 1991-92 with the Edmonton Oilers where he played 6 seasons. This enforcer went on to represent the Tampa Bay Lightning, Phoenix Coyotes and the Chicago Blackhawks before wrapping up his 11-year NHL career. In 401 games played, Louie racked up 1161 PIMS, including a single season best in 1992-93 of 205 PIMS in just 51 games.

The sleeves on this gamer have been custom shortened for DeBrusk by the team. Additionally, panel inserts were added to the lower half while a diamond material pattern has been added to the underarms. The game wear on this 1st set size 56 Goalie cut sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, material pulls, inner pilling and a couple of team-sewn repairs. Fight abuse is readily evident with further repair work to a previously torn front collar and stress to the fight strap. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A well-worn fight abused and customized nearly three-decade old enforcer’s gamer.
