Lot #141

This road burgundy air-knit gamer by Starter was worn by Landon Wilson during the 1995-96 Stanley Cup winning season, the first year of the Colorado Avalanche existence and his rookie year. The Toronto Maple Leafs selected Wilson in the 1st round of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After playing two years of college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota, this St. Louis, MO native made his NHL debut with the Colorado Avalanche during the 1995-96 Stanley Cup winning season. Wilson spent a couple of years with the Avalanche before spending time with Boston, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Dallas. All told this winger played in 10 NHL seasons.

The game wear on this size 58 sweater is on the lighter side, commensurate with his light schedule. Landon played in just 7 games as a rookie, scoring a single goal and going +3 as his team went on to win the Stanley Cup. This jersey will be accompanied by an Avalanche team letter.
