Description
1995-96 Jere Lehtinen Dallas Stars Game Worn Jersey - Rookie
Lot #175
This road black air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jere Lehtinen during the 1995-96 NHL season, his rookie year. Lehtinen, a career Dallas Star, was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars in the 4th round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft and served the franchise for 14 seasons. During that span Jere won a Stanley Cup and captured 3 Frank J. Selke Trophies as the NHL’s best defensive forward. Lehtinen, an NHL All Star, was twice a 30-goal man and ended his career with 243 goals in 875 games played. On the international stage, Jere represented his native Finland in 5 different Olympics! He also partook in 2 World Cups and numerous World Championships.

The game wear on this size 54 rookie sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, stitch pops, fine inner pilling, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust and more than a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. A terrific well-worn rookie sweater from one of the finest defensive forwards of this generation.
