Description
1995-96 Jason Bonsignore Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey Rookie - Photo Match
Lot #250

This road blue air-knit gamer by CCM and RMC Sports was worn by Jason Bonsignore during the 1995-96 NHL season, his rookie year. The Edmonton Oilers selected Bonsignore with the 4th overall pick in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. After appearing in a single game with Edmonton in the spring of 1995, he played 20 games for the Oilers during his official Rookie season of 1995-96. Bonsignore struggled and was sent down to the minors where he played for a couple of years before returning to the NHL for a final time with the Tampa Bay Lightning for a couple of seasons. Bonsignore retired from the sport in 2008 after having spent time in Europe and the minors.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, material pulls and inner pilling. Worthy of mention is a number change. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Bonsignore wearing this exact jersey during the 1995-96 season. Sewn into the hem is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice photo matched rookie sweater of this former 1st round draft choice.
