1995-96 Dave Gagnon Minnesota Moose Game Worn Jersey Team Letter
Lot #230

This road black knit gamer by Bauer was worn by Dave Gagnon during the 1995-96 IHL season, the final year for the Minnesota Moose. After playing his college hockey at Colgate University where he was named ECAC player of the year in 1990, this Windsor native made his NHL debut in 1990-91 with the Detroit Red Wings. Gagnon’s professional career spanned 11 seasons across the NHL, AHL, ECHL and IHL before retiring after the 2000-01 season. Dave was twice named playoff MVP for his stellar goaltending.

The game wear on this size 58 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick and puck marks, goal post and crossbar paint transfer, heavy cuff pilling and inner pilling. According to the Moose, the players were issued one home and road jersey for the entire season. Gagnon appeared in 52 games for the Moose that season while wearing this sweater during road contests. A beautiful example that marked the end of the Minnesota Moose as a franchise. This jersey will be accompanied by a Moose team letter.
